Notes on Bear

Bear is now 5 1/2 months old,He had his weigh in at the vet and he is now at 70.4 pounds.
Bear has a great appettite,He gets about 7 cups a day,right now he is on Taste Of the Wild Salmon formula,I switch his and my other doggys food every 3rd bag.

Bear is completley housebroken,leash savvy and obeys simple commands as sit,stay and lie down.He loves to be groomed and doesnt mind nail trims and ear cleanings.

Bear Still Loving His Kong

At 5 months of age Bear still has the love of his Kong toy,I stuff it with treats,canned dog food and peanut butter,he gets it stuffed daily as a boredom breaker while in his crate.

Notes On Bear

Bear is now at 5 months of age,he weighs in at 66 pounds.His diet consists of several different quality foods,I rotate the dogs food to give variety and keep there interests as well.Right now he is on Taste of The Wild-Salmon formula with added Salmon oil daily.Bear consumes about 6 to 7 cups daily.

Bear is 100% housetrained,he can be trusted for long periods without a mistake,He is still crated some,never any longer then 7 hours at a time,he does fine,sleeps mostly.Bears leash walks are still going great,he doesnt pull or resist,very leash friendly :)

Bear has started barking outside at things now,he will bark when someone comes into the drive way..and boy what a bark!

Bear gets groomed almost daily,brushed and feet messed with.

Pyrenees And Children

Bear just adores Jeremy,Bear will just sit and lick him and lay by him,when Jeremy got up Bear took his arm gently as if to say please dont go.

A Pyrs Coat Is Self Cleaning...

A Pyrenees coat is self cleaning,the mud when dries turns to dirt and literally just falls off,this is a good thing,Bear has tested his wonderfully made coat time and time again.

Second Favorite Place To Be

Other then the couch this is Bears favorite spot to be,He likes to join us for morning coffee.
He is 5 months today in this picture.

Bear is 5 months old today and weighs 66 pounds.

Peaking In The Door

Bear and Buddy peaking in the door,you can barley see Buddy.

Bear is about 5 days from being 5 months old and weighs in at whopping 64.8 pounds!

Double Dews

Pyrs have an extra set of toes on the rear feet the toes are equipped with a pad and nails,some people refer to them as thumbs.
The extra toes is said to have helped the pyrs grip across the Pyrenean Mts and the rocky terrain.

Bears paw in reference to my hand and I do not have small hands.

I Am Getting Long

Not only is Bear getting tall and stocky he is also getting long in his back.

I am 4 1/2 Months Old Now

At 4 1/2 months old Bear now weighs in at 55 pounds.I am not so sure that I will be able to hold him for the next pictures.

I Would Rather Play With My Leash

Every afternoon or almost every afternnon I bring Bear in the floor and groom him,we brush,clean ears,check nails for trimming...this particular day he would rather play with his leash then be groomed!
